Large Scale Joseph Vincent Barber Oil Painting

This early 19th century oil painting features a quintessential, Romantic English landscape, complete with rolling hills, flocks of sheep, a winding river, and cozy cottage. The name plate on the bottom reads "Barber" and, based on research, is attributed to Joseph Vincent Barber (1788-1838), a well-known Birmingham Landscape artist.

Measures: 77" wide, 49" high, 4" deep

Note: a small section of trim is gone from the left edge as well as a bit of loss on the top corners of the frame. One small puncture in the canvas as well (see pictures).
