British Industrial Laundry Basket on Wheels

Early 20th Century Industrial Laundry "Skip" or basket made for the British Laundering Company, Sketchley. Basket made of hand-woven wicker with leather buckles, rope handles, and rawhide binding the edges and corners. Wooden runners and caster wheels sit discreetly on the bottom to help it move more easily when full. 

Measures: 36" wide, 28" deep, 21" tall

Note: Thin leather buckle strap has worn through and broken, so left buckle can't be tucked into the strap. Wicker is in fantastic shape with just one small piece frayed on the top of the lid. Inside is very clean.
